Introduction (FMP)

Final Major Project - Introductory blog.

This blog is primarily going to be used for my Final Major Project work, demonstrating my research, and showing my progress, and demonstrating my online portfolio.

My chosen project is one that features myself working, and planning on a composition job. The main focus of this final major project was to become involved in the active development  Game Soundtrack--To show different examples of how soundtracks evolve during the MIDI mock-up and the final submitted piece. This work will be stored on the SoundCloud Account (JamesAndrewHarrisGrant) This account will store pieces made specifically for a game project linked in the FMP playlist called Gaming
https://soundcloud.com/jamesandrewharrisgrant/sets/final-major-project-gaming

The Soundtracks in the playlist will be from 3 different soundtracks I am working on at this current time.

Voyager of Time - The-GCN - BrynnaGiadrosich
Shattered Fate - The-GCN - BrynnaGiadrosich
Untitled Mod - The-GCN - HeavyZ

And tributes to certain genre's of Video Game Soundtrack work and pieces developed from certain inspirations by the creators, that inspired me to become a composer.

This blog will document the progress of:-

Documenting the research and planning used in such a project, demonstrating in-depth research into famous video-game/film composers and composition work. And then using this research to my advantage to either create music or talk about creations that could stem from this research.

To keep my progress updated, there is a Soundcloud (will be created by 25/10/2013), that will be created specially for the project, which will upload finished and experimental pieces.

This blog will be the first source for developmental updates and progress regarding the immediate completion and the immediate stages leading up to the end of this conceptual period.

Below is a schedule listing the tasks I need to do. They will be completed and highlighted in Green.
